1992 debut LP by Catherine Wheel. Along with Swervedriver, Catherine Wheel were one of the riffiest bands in the first wave UK scene, perhaps taking a little bit of inspiration from what was going on across the Atlantic, while still retaining the unmistakable texture of shoegaze. Heck, a Catherine Wheel / Love Battery (perhaps the most psychedelic of the grunge bands) would have made a whole lot of sense. This release comes with a bonus 12" EP featuring three live tracks recorded in 1991.
