1995 Debut LP from New York's Bowery Electric. Along with Lovesliecrushing, Bethany Curve and Seefeel, Bowery Electric explored the outer edges of shoegaze where it slowly morphs into something more ambient. The guitar on Bowery Electric is a near constant psychedelic swirl, while the rhythm section takes the drivers seat and keeps things moving, showing occasional flashes of the trip hop direction the next few Bowery Electric albums would take. An underrated and highly recommended gem. This repress also includes the 4 tracks from the 1994 Drop EP.
